Dear Ikeda,

This seem do be typically a problem of setting of local resolution (mesh size) in your CAD file and/ or an error in the definition of one of the boundaries (holes in the surfaces defining the computationnal volume, surface defined in double, too many constraints, i.e CAD nodes, in a too small volume, etc...).

Gmsh, the embeded mesher, is unfortunately very sensitive to such kind of things. Can you upload your file on the common exchange area at the following address :

Best,

Julien.

Hello,

I am using SPIS3.1.01 on windowsXP for my research. I made up a simplified satellite model similar to Demo_4.geo. When I tried to run “3D mesh” in the menu, error occurred. I do not have any idea to resolve that.

Following error message is the first sentence appearing on logs window. Warning : Coplanar points in circum sphere computation Warning : (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (1,2,0) (1,1.00016,0.500252) (1,1.00028,0.000307873) Warning : Coplanar points in circum sphere computation Warning : (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (0,2,1) (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (1,2,0) Warning : Coplanar points in circum sphere computation Warning : (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (1,1.00028,0.000307873) (1,2,0) …………………… …………………… ……………………

Do you have any hints or suggestions about what's wrong? Thank you.
