since the version 3.0.01rc1 of SPIS, the averaged number of particles is defined through the Global Parameter. You can access to this module through the Solver->Set Global Parameter menu. Click Save and quite in order to load the modifications into the framework memory.

Generally speaking, don't use versions of SPIS older than the 3.0.01RC1.

just a a brief question: Is it possible to find out (resp. control) the number of computer particles used in a simulation, or is the density given from the UI directly used as particle number?
